Snap Packs Details and Drop Rates

About

Snap Packs let you purchase unowned cards from Series 3, Series 4, and Series 5 with Tokens.

 

Seasonal Spotlight

Seasonal Spotlight Series 4 and Series 5 Snap Packs contain 1 unowned base card from either the current or previous season, at the time of purchase, plus 2 additional rewards.

 

Collector’s Packs

Collector’s Packs contain 1 unowned Series 3, 4, or 5 base card from 3+ seasons ago, at the time of purchase, plus 2 additional rewards.

 

Series Complete

If you own all the base cards from either Series 3, 4, or 5, you will not be able to purchase a Snap Pack for that series until new base cards have been added to it.

 

Additional Rewards from Snap Packs

In addition to earning an unowned base card when purchasing a Snap Pack, you will receive 2 additional rewards.

Featured Sets

Featured Sets contain limited time combinations of base cards, variants, or packs. Packs may contain base cards or variants.

The contents of Featured Set packs have an equal drop rate. Bonus items can be credits, tokens, boosters, variants, borders, or even more cards.

 

Boosters

When you earn boosters from additional reward rolls in Snap Packs, they will be for the first card you earned from your pack. Cards earned from additional reward rolls are not eligible. Examples:

  • If you earn Thanos from a Collector’s Series 5 pack, any boosters you earn from additional reward rolls will be for Thanos.
  • If you earn Thanos from a Collector’s Series 5 pack, Knull from an additional reward roll, and boosters from the other additional reward roll, the boosters will be for Thanos.

 

Bonus Card Protection

Bonus cards are guaranteed from additional reward rolls for a specific card type within a specific pack when X * drop rate = 100% where X equals the number of goodie rolls. Example:

  • A Series 3 base card (when S3 incomplete) has a drop chance of 2.67% in a Collector’s Series 5 pack, so you would be guaranteed a Series 3 bonus card after 37 Collector’s Series 5 pack additional reward rolls.

PATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Today marks a major milestone for MARVEL SNAP and the entire team at Second Dinner. For the very first time, we’re releasing a patch fully under our own roof. It’s built, published, and launched on a platform we now own and operate. This is more than just a technical update, it’s a defining moment in our studio’s journey into self-publishing and a bold leap forward for Marvel Snap.

If everything looks familiar when you log in, that’s by design. Like a duck gliding across a calm pond, things may seem unchanged on the surface but behind the scenes, we’re paddling hard. This patch is packed with important updates that lay the groundwork for even more flexibility, creativity, and responsiveness moving forward.

FEATURES

New Client (41.11)

  • There aren’t any new player-facing features you’ll notice as this is mainly for backend updates. However, in-order to quickly ramp-up to the new systems we’ll be requiring all players to update to this new build by June 12.

New Web Shop

  • For players, this will be the biggest new feature you’ll see alongside the new client. We’re releasing an all-new web shop where you’ll be able to purchase Season Passes, Gold Passes, exclusive bundles, claim rewards, and earn bonus rewards along the Web Shop Milestone track just as you could before.
  • To celebrate the launch of this new Web Shop we’ll be offering some fantastic deals and rewards just for checking it out.
  • This is just the first step in what will be many to come for this all-new Web Shop. We plan to continue to make many improvements as it evolves. Be sure to let us know what you want to see us add to it in the future!

KNOWN ISSUES

Web Shop Login

  • Players will need to update to the latest game version to login or make purchases on the web shop.

Guest Accounts

  • If you have a Guest Account (no attached email) and are having login issues, please reach out to customer support for assistance.
  • Your account is safe and isn’t going anywhere!

Samsung Store Deprecation

  • Marvel Snap will no longer be available on the Samsung Store starting June 12th.
  • For players currently using Samsung Store, going forward please use the Google Play Store.

Player Name Display Error on Web Leaderboard

  • Player names will not be displayed correctly on the leaderboard until you’ve played your first game on the new client.
